Since the swash-buckling pirate days the need for a compact weapon of superior cutting ability was needed for use aboard ships and occasionally in port during the odd tavern scuffle. Enter the Cutlass.
Due to it's curved blade and point forward balance the Cutlass can unleash heavy slashing and cutting attacks against an opponent without having to carry a large weapon such as a polearm.
For action below decks whilst taking over an enemy ship the Boarding Cutlass is the tool for the job. With a similar blade type and profile as a regular Cutlass, but a shorter blade, it makes an excellent close quarters weapon in tight spaces where there just isn't enough room to swing a full size Cutlass.
A shorter cousin of the cutlass, the boarding cutlass provides a handy sharp instrument in a compact package. Badger’s blades have steel guards and pommels and a dark finish. Please note some variation from the photo will occur, especially in curvature, as all the blades are hand made.
