Badger’s version of this Turkish sword is based on earlier forms of the style; more Mongol than Ottoman, with a modest blade curvature, and a pronounced Yalman (the double edged point). These elements make saber and cutlass techniques easily translate while providing excellent thrusting geometry.
The Bastard swords come with three different widths of blade. Badger’s blades have steel guards and pommels and a dark finish. Please note some variation from the photo will occur, as all the blades are hand made.
